The Halton Regional Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) is an advisory committee to Regional Council. YAC identifies issues and opportunities that affect youth in Halton and serves as a channel for youth to express their opinions and offer solutions to problems affecting them.

The Committee was formed in the fall of 1998 to promote and establish a link between the four municipal Mayor’s Youth Advisory Committees (MYACs) as well as any other interested youth living in Halton. YAC is a forum for Halton youth to help shape the future of our community.
